The Post

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the HR Service. We are committed to providing a high quality customer focused recruitment service by proactively building relationships with internal customers and a range of partners to deliver an efficient and effective service. 

Support the management and delivery of effective recruitment and selection services including advertising jobs, co-ordinating and participating in selection procedures, implementing all pre-employment checks and issuing contracts of employment. 

We are looking for a Recruitment Advisor to join our busy fast-paced environment. You will work closely with hiring managers to provide an effective recruitment service that meets the needs of both the customer and key stakeholders across the council. 

The Person

You will have successful experience of managing recruitment campaigns in their entirety in a large complex organisation and experience of developing, maintaining high quality administrative and information systems and have the ability to undertake multi recruitment assignments within deadlines. 

You will be able to carry out pre-employment screening activities and provide evidence of continuous professional development relevant to recruitment and selection.
