Every member of staff plays their role, working within a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. If you are interested in a career in leisure and are passionate about delivering the best customer service, then we have the job for you.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to work as part of a team to ensure the safety, welfare and enjoyment of users of the Ice Rink.
The successful applicant will join the ice rink team and will be required to act as Ice Rink Supervisor as part of a roster pattern (10.75 hrs per week). During these shifts, the applicant will take responsibility for the day to day operation of the rink and the skate hire facility, including the sharpening of skate boot blades, resurfacing and edging up if the ice pad and lock up and alarm the building at the end of the shift.
At other times, you will be required to work alongside the team of Ice Rink Assistants undertaking various duties within the Ice Rink including stewarding on the ice so the ability to skate backwards and forwards is essential. This will account for 13.5 hours per week.
