NYCC have an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with excellent technical and communication skills as a Team Leader – Highway Asset Management. The core focus of the position is to own the whole HMEP agenda and ensure the successful delivery against and, continuous improvement in, the Council’s Highway Asset Management Strategy. In so doing, you must be able to communicate clearly the Highway Asset Management Strategy to internal teams, external partners and stakeholders and to the customers and residents of North Yorkshire. This involves fostering effective and constructive working relationships with internal teams to deliver transformational change in identification and delivery of the Highways Capital Works Programme. As the key advocate for the Council’s Highway Asset Management Strategy, you will articulate a clear policy narrative and where necessary, give direction, across a range of internal and external partners and stakeholders and set a positive and collaborative ‘can do’ culture.
