We have a two exciting Improvement Manager opportunities in our Skipton and Boroughbridge Highways Operational offices. 

Reporting to the Area Manager and working alongside the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for a team of skilled and passionate Project Engineers constantly seeking to deliver High Performance, Value for Money, Continuous Improvement and Quality Outcomes on behalf of our community. 
Your local duties will include developing and delivering the local capital program, coordinating local development control and providing a local traffic management service. 
Liaising and collaborating with our delivery partners to develop positive relationships and improve delivery performance across our highways North Yorkshire partnership is a key element of the role as well as fostering good relationships with Elected Members and the wider community of stakeholders we engage with. 
You will also assist in delivering our winter service in your capacity as duty manager on a standby rota basis as well as assisting with other emergencies; as such the role will include some occasional out of hours working.
