We are looking for an IT Officer (Service Desk) to join our busy IT Team. 

As the IT Officer (Service Desk) you will work as part of a small and friendly team to support, implement and maintain the Council’s IT infrastructure. You will have experience of working in a similar IT environment, including the use of Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop products, MS Active Directory, VMWare, Terminal Services & Networking technologies. 

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the ‘first line’ IT service desk activities and be able to demonstrate excellent self-management and communication skills. 

You will have a good technical background with a ‘hands on’ approach to supporting the lifecycle of service desk requests in-line with operational requirements. 

This role provides an exciting opportunity for a dynamic IT professional who would like to develop and broaden their expertise in a technical environment.
