About the Role 

This is your chance to make your mark on Lincolnshire. As part of a programme to promote growth in the county, we're looking for a Head of Infrastructure Investment to lead our team in securing funding for the essential infrastructure priorities across Lincolnshire.  

You'll be tackling the elements of infrastructure that are impeding growth, with emphasis on transport and housing, you'll need to set out plans to ensure the county is prepared for development. To ensure these plans can be put into action, you and your team will be tasked with securing funding for these exciting projects, involving grant applications and private investment. This is an incredible chance to make a difference and build a legacy of infrastructure across Lincolnshire; the role generates an average of £15-20m per annum which can have a huge influence across the county, with benefits that will be enjoyed for generations to come.  

About You 

You'll need great business acumen for identifying the value of each plan and communicating it effectively to private and public stakeholders. There's a lot of negotiation involved in this role, so you'll need experience of establishing strong business relationships within your team and across the sector, whether that is your local counterparts, regional allies, or national government departments. Resilient, flexible, with a great strategic mind, you'll need a relevant degree, a background in senior management and you'll need to bring a creative and innovative approach to your work.
