We want to ensure people live in well maintained homes and estates and we are prepared to put in the required level of investment to achieve this. We know cash alone won’t deliver the changes our residents want to see, we need excellent people who have the right experience, knowledge and attitude to make the cash work and there’s where you come in.

Our Property Service team is looking for a Responsive & Voids Manager, who is commercially minded and seasoned repairs and voids professional to join us in a key management role.  The post-holder will take strategic accountability to lead on procurement and delivery of responsive repairs and voids capital works contract. This will include the contract administration and management of multi million pound repairs and maintenance contracts. 

In addition, you will deliver sector-leading customer experience where each transaction is positive by embedding a right first time approach to resident contact and repair delivery. You will build and maintain effective building relationships with providers, partners and stakeholders to ensure maximum value is achieved in sustainable and affordable way.

Reporting to the Head of Property Services, you’ll be cohesive part of an intelligent client and lead a multidisciplinary team providing commercial, financial, risk and contractual advice to ensure the contract process delivers agreed outcomes for the Council, its residents and stakeholders.
