The Post 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the HR Service. We are committed to providing a high quality customer focused recruitment service by proactively building relationships with internal customers and a range of partners to deliver an efficient and effective service. 

You will provide a dedicated service to allocated departments across the council maintaining a high level of client focus and professionalism across a broad range of activities including support the management and delivery of effective recruitment and selection services. Manage all senior recruitment activity at Head of Service level and above including the management of schools’ traded service activity – on BEST Brent – and the Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) recruitment programme. 

We are looking for a Senior Recruitment Advisor to join our busy fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the Recruitment Manager to provide an effective recruitment service that meets the needs of both the customer and key stakeholders across the council. 

The Person 

You will have successful experience of managing recruitment campaigns in their entirety in a large complex organisation and experience of developing, maintaining high quality administrative and information systems and have the ability to undertake multi-recruitment assignments within deadlines. 

You will have previous experience of improving recruitment and selection service delivery to support the business objectives. Ability to undertake complex research, prepare and present information clearly and concisely in writing and verbally at all levels both internally and externally and provide evidence of continuous professional development relevant to recruitment and selection.
