We are now looking for an exceptional individual to fill the role of Assistant Director, ICT, Digital and Customer within our Finance and Resources Directorate.
The way we interact with our customers, both internal and external is changing, with a focus on contact via digital channels, therefore it is important to ensure that end to end journeys for our customers meet their expectations and this is a key part of the City Council’s Transformation Plan. To facilitate this, we have joined our ICT, Digital and Customer Access services into a single division that will focus on these customer journeys and our new Assistant Director, ICT, Digital and Customer will lead this division.
With full responsibility for the successful delivery of the ICT, Digital and Customer Division, the post holder will have substantial senior experience in a major organisation relevant to the provision of one or more of these areas.
Playing a key role in the City Conversation, the post holder will have strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills and take a collaborative approach to working in order to deliver wider organisational goals.
We expect candidates to have a relevant professional qualification in a related subject and demonstrate evidence of relevant continuous professional development.
