Job Details
An Excellent Opportunity
Brent made the bold decision to bring back its ALMO in 2017 and things have been going well since. The service has been redesigned to focus on delivering the service residents want. We want to ensure people live in well maintained homes and estates and we are prepared to put in the required level of investment to achieve this. We know cash alone won’t deliver the changes our residents want to see, we need excellent people who have the right experience, knowledge and attitude to make the cash work and there’s where you come in.
The Post
As the Asset Data Manager you will assist with the development of a comprehensive asset management strategy for all Council owned and managed stock that will return maximum value from the assets, taking account of their sustainability, and inform and support the development of the Council’s business plan including a 30-year plan for capital and revenue spending.
Provide current and accurate information on the condition of its assets, their performance and develop 1-5 year investment programmes for major component replacement and refurbishment and cyclical and reactive maintenance that will ensure the affordable delivery of the asset management strategy.
You will support the Strategic Asset Manager in securing the continuous development, improvement, efficiency and success of the property services as a whole. The work will involve interpreting or assessing customer needs, identifying trends, generating original ideas, and responding quickly and effectively to operations issues and requirements.
The Person
We are looking for someone educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant experience. Ideally you will have a PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification/training or demonstrable experience and a strong commitment to personal development and continuous improvement.
You will have strong analytical skills and be able to use data analysis to inform short to long term strategies and objectives.
Closing Date: 24 July 2019 (23:00)
Assessment & Interview Date: w/c 12 August 2018
