Have you got extensive experience in working within Early Years, with a clear understanding of child development along with in-depth experience of supporting children and families with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

We are looking for a keyworker to join the Early Years Inclusion Team in Greenwich who will coordinate services to children under 3yrs with complex needs who are not yet in an education setting.

The post holder would be required to provide advice and information to families of children with SEND and their professional network to ensure the inclusion of the child in the community, to provide short term coordination and intervention aimed at getting a child with complex needs in to an appropriate community resource or setting. The keyworker will also provide consultation, support and challenge to providers to build capacity to meet the needs of children under 3 with complex needs within their services.

The post will require working alongside team members to deliver some SEN training through the Special Needs training programme. The Early Years Inclusion Team includes Inclusion Coordinators/ Area SENCo’s, Inclusion Support workers and other professionals who offer a supporting role.  The post holder will also have regular consultation sessions with a member of the leadership team within Disabled Children Family Support Service.

You would be travelling across the Borough but based in Eltham and it would be an advantage to be a car user.
