The Learning & Enterprise College Bexley is a vibrant; financially secure adult education institution responsible for delivering high quality outcomes for students, residents and employers, while contributing to the strategic objectives laid out in Bexley Council’s corporate priorities for adult learning, employment and wellbeing. 

At the LECB we are expanding our supported employment provision to ensure that more SEND young people with and Education Health and Care Plan have access to employment opportunities. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and well organised full-time Job coach to support our students enrolled onto the Supported Internship Programme. This job will attract someone who is sensitive to the needs of SEND young people.

You will offer high quality, personalised support for students with disabilities and/or other disadvantages to seek, access and retain employment experiences with the long-term view of accessing paid employment and/or increased independence.

You will work as part of the team to achieve coherent planning for destination and outcomes for allocated students and support students and employers on the Supported Internship Programme.

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service
