We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Contract Manager to be part of our North London Waste Authority (NWLA) Strategy and Services team. In this role you will lead on all aspects of the main waste contract with our contractor London Energy Ltd. This will include liaising with Head of Operations daily, manage a budget in excess of £36 million per annum, ensure compliance against the contract and legislation and communicate with all stakeholders. Travel will be required with this role as there are multiple sites to monitor.

The right individual will have experience of managing large contracts and a track record of delivering to budget. The person will have excellent communication skills and will be capable of creating reports for various stakeholders. It is also essential to have good organisational skills as you will often have to manage conflicting demands and be able to prioritise accordingly. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and good attention to detail.

You will also have knowledge of MS Office in particular Word, Outlook and Excel.

Diploma or Degree level qualifications essential. Knowledge of local government policies and procedures is also advantageous.
