A Chief Executive is required for an exceptional borough.
The successful candidate will be a hands on leader with a proven track record.
You will work with Elected Members, partners, key stakeholders and the senior management team to ensure that the strategic aims of the Council are clear and reflect our vision, values and priorities, the needs of the people of Rossendale and these are balanced against available resources.
Key areas of accountability will include providing corporate leadership; supporting and advising members; people and resource management; supporting organisational and cultural change; performance management; encouraging new ways of working and collaboration with others locally and across Pennine Lancashire, as partnership working becomes more critical than ever before.
We are able to offer a competitive salary, pension scheme, flexible working hours and a generous holiday entitlement.
