We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Social Workers to join us, we are based in the heart of London in our new offices in Kings Cross. We are currently looking for Social workers to support Camden’s vision, providing an exceptional service where the needs of disabled and older residents can be best met through social workers undertaking direct work in partnership with the Health Trust to achieve positive change are at the centre of everything we do.  

We focus on developing individual skills set to undertake the full range of the role across the service; we have excellent community resources and multi-agency working arrangements, which ensure the holistic needs of our disabled and older residents are met.  As you develop within the service, further opportunities will arise and you will have the chance to broaden your skills and experience and progress in your chosen career path.

We are looking for experienced social workers who can think out of the box, that go that extra mile, that believe in providing a high quality service that ensures that our older residents are at the heart of everything we do. Essentially you will possess a diploma in social work or equivalent, have a valid HCPC registration, with a minimum two years post qualifying experience.

You will demonstrate a sound knowledge of the legislative framework relating to Adults and the Care Act. You must demonstrate that you have a knowledge and understanding of the pressures faced by disabled and older residents, and how this applies to their care and support needs.

The roles will include supporting hospital discharges speedily and effectively ensuring no delayed transfers of care. If you have the drive and the commitment we are looking for we would love to hear from you.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS
