Are you an experienced Youth Worker looking to make a real difference to the lives of young people in Camden by working alongside a highly skilled team of professionals?

Youth Early Help is part of the Integrated Youth Support Service which respond to emerging needs for young people at the earliest opportunity. As a Youth Worker, you will be responsible for engaging with young people from a diverse inner-city neighborhood to design and deliver a wide-ranging programmes of personal and social education to young people.

The successful candidates will work within a multi-disciplinary team and our partners to deliver high quality evidence based youth work for young people.

Camden has cultivated a ‘whole family approach’ model, offering tailor made support for young people to stay safe; be healthy; succeed in education, employment and training; and to play a positive role in their community.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

We are looking for an inspiring and insightful Youth Worker with demonstrable experience of direct work with young people including the delivery of face-to-face work, ability to identify the needs of young people and design interventions, projects and activities appropriately. The successful candidates will be a confident communicator who possess a qualification in the relevant field such as an NVQ level 3 or higher in Youth and Community Work and have significant experience in working with young people. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of engaging young people who may be at risk of engaging in harmful behaviour and/or are vulnerable. The candidate will also have proven experience of planning, delivering and evaluating programmes of work with young people.
