We are looking to fill a new and exciting role in the Intelligence & Performance Service in Kirklees Council.  You will be responsible for handling & interrogating large and complex datasets that support the Education Intelligence function and Outcomes programmes. You will also be a data translator & be confident in communicating with both internal & external customers.  Working closely with other services and external partners, you will transform data into intelligence and insights to help solve problems, understand what difference we are making to schools and children and help our organisation to become more efficient and effective. 

We will give you the freedom to explore datasets, liaise with customers and develop visualisation techniques in the organisation.  There will be opportunities for you to delve into our corporate systems, extract datasets, follow your own key lines of enquiry, explore new technology & develop new ways of doing things more efficiently.  You will have the autonomy to design intelligence products that are fit for purpose and inform decision making in order to support a culture of continuous improvement.
