Enjoy working with data? Happy to analyse data and draw conclusions?  Enjoy helping people solve problems using your knowledge, skills & experience? Then, we want to hear from you!

We are looking to fill a new and exciting role in the Intelligence & Performance Service in Kirklees Council.  You will be responsible for handling & interrogating large and complex datasets that support the Adult Services Intelligence function, including key priority areas such as our single point of access and supporting the wider transformation of the adults care pathway. You will also be a data translator & be confident in communicating with both internal & external customers.  You will work closely with other services and external partners to transform data into intelligence and insights to help solve problems, understand what difference we are making to adults and older people and help our organisation to become more efficient and effective.

We will give you the freedom to explore datasets, liaise with customers and develop visualisation techniques in the organisation.  There will be opportunities for you to delve into our corporate systems, extract datasets, follow your own key lines of enquiry, explore new technology & develop new ways of doing things more efficiently.  You will have the autonomy to design intelligence products that are fit for purpose and inform decision making in order to support a culture of continuous improvement.

We will support your professional development and give you access to modern intelligence & analytical tools such as Tableau, so you can grow and achieve great things.  We have super people in our existing teams, flexible working arrangements, a generous pension scheme and annual leave entitlement of 27.5 days a year [plus public holidays].

If you feel you have the drive and ambition to succeed in this role then we would love to hear from you.
