Job Details

We are looking for Annual Review Assistant to join our team. The main objective will be to administer all routine aspects of the annual review process and oversee and monitor scheduling of all annual reviews.

The post holder will work across the SEN Team, and will be required to develop specific skill sets associated with the role such as being able to identify and draft provision and outcomes (including transitional) as appropriate to specific needs and age groups (that is pre-school, nursery, primary and secondary and then secondary, tertiary, colleges and training agencies and the transfer into adult services).

The ideal candidates will support the SEN Team achieve its statutory duties by meeting tight deadlines and fulfilling your role by liaising with schools, early year’s settings and FE colleges to ensure the continuum of a young person’s special educational needs are being met and is reviewed annually.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

To be considered for one of these posts you must be an effective communicator who possesses the ability to interact with people all levels including parents, carers, Head Teachers, SENCos, Health and Social Care Practitioners and others as required. The successful candidates will work across the team, supporting the Assessment Case Coordinators, thereby developing both a general knowledge and skill set in relation to SEND and the curriculum of children and young people aged 0-25. These include but are not limited to pre-school, nursery, primary, secondary and FE. You will work under the direction of the Senior SEN Officer in collaboration with colleagues and professionals from Education, Health & Care.
