We have recently reviewed and reorganised the Finance service to ensure that it has the capacity and leadership required to deliver the excellent service that is needed and expected in order to achieve the Council’s future ambitions. The role will be responsible for all Corporate Finance activity across the Council, including the Council’s Budget and Medium Term Financial Strategy, Capital Programme and Capital Strategy and Financial Accounting.
The role will also be responsible for delivery of a work programme to lead the provision of finance business partnering support to the Directorates of the Strategic Director – Finance and Customer Services and the Assistant Chief Executive. The post holder reports to the Assistant Director – Financial Services.
