ECC Adult Social Care, through effective practice, is moving towards a transformational shift from a focus on long-term care support, to a model with four key principles:- prevention; early intervention; enablement and safeguarding. This will enable people, their families and carers to be able to access information and tools to live healthily and independently. Providing an opportunity to respond pro-actively to growing service demand in a sustainable way, within the financial constraints of the Council.

This role is focused on the analysis and management of data around provider performance from a wide range of sources. Ensuring the data and intelligence is analysed effectively to inform reactive investigation and improvement strategies.

This post will sit within the Organisational Safeguarding Team. The successful applicant will utilise a wide range of internal and external quality data information and feedback to conduct analysis and ensure regular reporting to ensure highlights critical information to key stakeholders.

Responsible for reviewing and analysing data sources for the Safeguarding team whilst creating and managing the process of providing key information on a regular basis ensuring actions are underpinned by detailed processes and documentation.

Responsible for maintaining the Organisational Safeguarding Database, producing reports to ensure decision making and strategic development is supported by robust data analysis.

Responsible for delivering regular quality and reporting dashboard to ensure stakeholders are kept up to date on progress and trends.

Responsible for collating evidence to support the end to end provider concern lifecycle.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Educated to degree level or alternative professional qualification, or by equivalent experience.

Evidence of continuing professional development and demonstrable capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards e.g. professional capability framework, knowledge and skills statement.

Experience of working within a social care setting and public section environment with skills in understanding and responding to different perspectives.

Experience of utilising project management skills effectively.

Strong communication skills that are clear and able to present a compelling care or presentation in a clear style that is easy to follow

Evidence of creative thinking, practical problem solving skills and able to meet deadlines.

The role requires you to be mobile throughout a wider operational area including travelling around the county of Essex and beyond, transporting service users and their belongings and to be able to do so in an emergency. Driving licence and car or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means is essential.

The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate.
