An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Governance Co-ordinator within Health and Adult Services based at County Hall, Northallerton. 

The Engagement and Governance function ensures people who use our services can help shape what we provide, through consultation, engagement and co-production as well as through compliments and complaints. Ensuring we learn lessons and continuously reflect and improve people's experience of our services, is an integral part of assurance. The team also supports North Yorkshire Safeguarding Adults Board, multi-agency partnership working to keep adults safe in North Yorkshire. The development of a structured Governance Framework for Health and Adult Services is currently being developed by the team and this role will help shape and monitor the Directorate's performance and prepare Governance Reports for the Health and Adult Services Leadership Team. 

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, conscientious, with good attention to detail and accuracy. You will need to be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, making sure the work undertaken is performed to a high standard. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining processes and systems and also support and lead on governance projects. 

You must be able to demonstrate proven ICT skills and be competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint with relevant office experience. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. You will need to prioritise your workload and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as effectively working as part of a team. 

You will be responsible for developing and implementing tracking systems to monitor compliance with the Governance Framework within Health and Adult Services. You will also be required to analyse the data recorded on data breaches, serious incidents and subject access requests together with governance information from across the Directorate and prepare governance
