Job Details

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Property Manager who will manage a portfolio of properties.

You will effectively manage property assets which may include administrative buildings, care homes, resource centres, libraries, sports centres, play centres and depots to deliver better outcomes for the people of Camden.

You will be proactive and take the lead in devising and implementing a programme of regular building and condition inspections and identify solutions. As part of the wider Camden programme, you will prepare reports for the Senior Property Manager and Senior Practitioner [Corporate Building Management] for larger works and schemes that should be considered for capital funding.

You will have good knowledge of building management and related services i.e. planned and reactive maintenance, security and of managing contracts and contractors on site.

You will have a sound understanding of budgetary management and financial procedures as well as having a thorough a knowledge and good practical application experience of health and safety legislation (Health & Safety at Work Act 1974) to property management together with a good knowledge of the Equality Act.
