Do you want to make a big impact in a place where your work makes a difference?

Can you challenge and question ways of working, driving change and providing insight to support an ambitious London borough?

We’re beginning an exciting journey that will enable better outcomes for our communities. To achieve our aims, we’re seeking three creative, curious and driven Change and Improvement Analysts to join our newly formed Transformation Hub. We’re looking for individuals who can diligently uncover hidden truths and insights. You’ll join an innovative team tasked with helping us to think differently about how we tackle problems. Together, we’ll seek solutions that will shape the council for years to come.

The Role

As a Change and Improvement Analyst, you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of major projects and initiatives that drive improvement across council services. You’ll provide insight, challenge, support and expert analysis that enables the successful delivery of Kingston’s transformation programmes.

Your day-to-day tasks will include collecting, processing and analysing qualitative and quantitative data from a variety of sources. Your role is vital – we’ll look to you to develop business cases, make recommendations to the wider team and council, and identify opportunities for change. As well as being an expert analyst, you’ll need to be able to use data to tell compelling stories.

A key part of your role will involve working with the Corporate Change Manager to define outcomes, set targets and monitor performance to help ensure we are realising benefits. Everything you do will need to encourage a culture of continuous improvement – we’re looking for someone that can disrupt traditional methods and inspire positive change.

Above all, you’ll need to be an extremely driven and organised self-starter who thrives on achieving change. We’re looking to build sector leaders, people who really want to transform the way we do things.

We’re excited to be building a new team and will be investing in your development with a purposely commissioned team development programme designed to support you to rapidly and collectively move to high performance.

We’ll focus on building your individual skills, as well as the way you work as a group. This will include a range of workshops, 1-2-1 coaching and mentoring, team activities as well as utilising psychometric and dynamic learning tools. Our programme focuses on accelerated development, shaping our Corporate Transformation Hub to create a team ready to deliver and provide the support and challenge the organisation needs to succeed.

As well as supporting your growth and training, we operate a fully flexible policy with work from home options and flexible hours to help give you a healthy work life balance.

About Us

At Kingston, we’re not just looking for people who try to do things differently, but those who are willing to try different things. To tackle the biggest obstacles in local government, we need people who aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo.

We want to move away from a focus on traditional savings and cuts, to explore new approaches and innovation, that support us to deliver better futures for our residents & communities and build a truly sustainable council.

Joining our Transformation Hub offers you the chance to take your next step up in your career. If you’re looking for a challenging role where your work will have public visibility and impact, we want to hear from you.

Please note, we do not accept CVs submitted without a fully completed online application form.
