The Governors of this primary aged school wish to appoint a Learning Support Assistant. Experience of working with children with complex and profound learning difficulties is required. We are looking for people who are adaptable, reliable and good team players.

The Orchard School is an outstanding Sandwell Special School that caters for pupils with complex and profound learning difficulties. These include severe autism, complex medical conditions, physical and mobility difficulties, as well as severe developmental delay. There are currently 148 pupils on roll, and our children range from 2-11 years.

We are a dynamic, vibrant and forward-looking school, with a welcoming ethos and a commitment to working in partnership with other agencies and families in order to harness and develop each child’s potential.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
