We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mutual Exchange Adviser to join our multi-disciplinary Housing team. The main objective for the post holder is to maximise the number of social housing tenants in Camden able to move home through mutual exchange. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely, comprehensive supportive and customer focused casework service to tenants looking to move via mutual exchange. The post holder will maximise publicity and promotion of the option of mutual exchange both generally with Camden social housing tenants and in targeted ways with individual tenants.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

To be considered for this vacancy the successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar post particularly assisting people with housing issues. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge and previous demonstrable experience of the process of mutual exchange. You will be a problem solver who relishes the opportunity to identify and address equalities needs of customers alongside striving to ensure the best value is achieved for the council.
