Job Details

We are looking for a talented communications professional to join our team at Camden. In this role, you will plan and deliver a variety of well-researched campaigns that are evidence based and which make good use of all available channels. Working as part of our Communications team, you will bring your creativity and energy to this wide ranging and busy role. You will have a good understanding about how to target different audiences and be confident working across channels to produce content for publications, social media, websites, video and events. You will write and deliver evidence-based communications plans, and you will use evaluation to measure success. You will be confident and capable of providing communications advice to colleagues across the council.

You will work as part of an integrated team, as well as independently on projects that profile the council’s top priorities, and which help us achieve the aims of our strategic vision, Camden 2025.

To succeed in this role, you will be a creative, motivated individual with a proven record delivering high-quality communications plans and materials. You will have first class writing skills and a significant understanding of audiences and channels, and evaluation. You will have experience of delivering targeted, evidence-based communications activity, and an understanding of the key issues affecting local government. You will have a degree level qualification or equivalent work experience.
