Business Support Officer - TempDirect

TempDirect provides temporary business support to services throughout Kirklees Council. Assignments vary in length and may be full time or part time.
It is essential that you have good IT skills and familiarity with computer packages (e.g. Microsoft Word, Access and Excel), the ability to communicate via electronic systems and experience of using office equipment. You must also be able to demonstrate good customer care skills when dealing with visitors both face to face and over the telephone.
Duties will vary according to each specific assignment but may include:
- Preparing correspondence and reports
- Maintaining records
- Entering routine and/or complex information onto computerised databases/spreadsheets
- Arranging appointments and meetings
- Minute taking
- Financial administration
- Filing/retrieving documents
- Sorting and distributing mail and other business support duties as specified by the manager.
