Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity to work with us to commission health and care integration in Camden through our local care strategy and adult social care transformation plan. At the heart of these plans is the development of a person-centered care approach that builds on people’s strengths and maximises their independence, but which also emphasises prevention, early intervention and high quality, affordable support to those people who are most vulnerable.

The Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Integrated Commissioning Team is seeking to appoint a new Commissioning Manager (permanent) to strengthen our commissioning team.  The Commissioning Manager will contribute to a fully integrated commissioning team, which serves both the Council and Camden CCG, working in close partnership with health and social care providers and the voluntary and community sector to deliver positive outcomes for residents.

We want you to play an active role in supporting our high performing, creative and flexible team to meet the enormous opportunities and challenges which lie ahead. This will include implementing the national agenda, such as the NHS Long Term Plan, and local strategies that aim to integrate services and embed strengths and asset based approaches to care.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

We are looking for an ambitious person who can communicate well and who understands how to analyse and translate needs into programmes of change and delivery. You will be innovative in your approach and appreciate the importance of collaboration, stakeholder engagement and co-production in the development of solutions.

If you want to join Camden, have a pro-active attitude and can demonstrate an ability to get things done, then we want to hear from you.
