The Inclusion, Learning and Achievement team are seeking an experienced practitioner to join our team. Our work supports vulnerable children with challenging behaviour and/or at risk of exclusion on transfer between schools due to emotional /behavioural need and significant barriers to achievement. Our work also offers support and guidance to schools to help them support their students effectively. You will be skilled at working with school leaders and young people of primary age. You will be passionate about challenging obstacles and transforming children’s lives and life chances by helping them succeed in school and you will be leading a talented team of behaviour support workers and pupil support  officers who are highly regarded by all of our schools.

The successful candidates will have:

  • up to date experience of working with primary age  children with challenging behaviour in mainstream and alternative settings
  • practised good understanding of how best to support learning and development
  • worked both as part of a team and independently
  • worked in a multi-agency context
  • led and managed projects and teams.
  • an understanding of fair access protocols

You must be prepared to travel between schools and be able to manage working in a variety of settings.
