Job Details

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual to work within our Development Management division.  You will deal with the registering and recording of planning applications, building control applications, and other types of application in accordance with legislative requirement and procedures. You will be responsible for checking and verifying decision notices as well as plotting site boundaries and other features on the Council's GIS system. 

You will have good written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail, along with the ability to interpret detailed information and plans.  You will be able to work flexibly on a wide range of complex administrative and technical tasks both independently and as part of a team to meet challenging targets. If you have the ability to manage high volumes of workload, learn quickly, and adapt to changing work processes, we want to hear from you. 

The Council offers flexible working and has a strong commitment to training and staff development. 

The successful applicant will be required to work 37 hours per week.
