Job Details

We are seeking an End User Compute Supervisor with a strong customer service ethos to lead on the day-to-day resource planning and work allocation of the end user compute function for the entire Council.

You will collaborate with the senior leaders as well as other End User Computing teams, as needed, to ensure our service providers are consistently delivering world-class IT support services. This role requires someone who is outgoing, has excellent communications skills, enjoys working as part of a team, can successfully multi-task, and excels at leading vendors to solve user's technical issues in a timely manner.

This role is subject to a DBS Enhanced Check.

BSc in relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

Expert in understanding the IT/ IS infrastructure, operating systems, configurations and the IT applications and service processes used within the organisation. 

Extensive knowledge of the management of remote access services and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical environment to deliver high performance, reliable and secure services. 

Familiar with corporate, industry and professional standards, policies, regulations, compliance and codes of conduct associated with the role. 

You will also have excellent communication and have a pro-active approach to work.
