We are currently looking for a student to fulfil a paid internship role.  This role will ideally suit any student who is working towards an environmental conservation qualification; who loves the outdoors; enjoys working in all weather conditions; has pride and passion in the community and wants to work with a diverse range of people, visitors and colleagues.  It is hoped the role will complement the students’ qualification pathway.

Requirements:

• 5 x GCSEs at  A-C level, including English, Maths and ICT (or equivalent)
• Working towards a qualification pathway related to this field of work
• Demonstrate basic commitment and knowledge of Environmental Conservation
• Ability to learn and adopt organisational procedures and follow legislative guidelines whilst maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity in all circumstances.
• Experience of using ICT packages to input and manipulate data, which must include Word, Outlook and Excel

About the team:

The Intern will work with a small team of staff and volunteers based at Lesnes Abbey Woods and report to the Estate Manager.
