Bringing ambition to life

Oxfordshire is ambitious, for its people and communities, and economy - We have a world class city, amazing countryside, thriving local towns, and a diverse economy and education sector making a significant contribution to UK PLC.

The innovative partnership between Oxfordshire County Council and Cherwell District Council sees us working ever closer together. There is an ambitious joint working and transformation agenda in place comprising service redesign, community engagement, investment in digital transformation and an active drive to engage with our partners across a variety of sectors.

Our people and a wide range of partners are working collaboratively and looking to bring jobs, growth and new and affordable housing to an area that is hungry for ideas, new opportunities and improved outcomes.

To deliver our ambitious agenda across the two councils we are looking for senior leaders in the following roles.

Working directly to the Chief Executive of the county and district the Corporate Director will lead the implementation of the new investment strategy, maximising opportunities to develop new business and revenue streams that other local authorities could only dream about. You will also be involved in a wider leadership remit with responsibility for improving the commerciality across a number of our key service areas and a member of the senior team for both Oxfordshire and Cherwell. You will lead programmes of regeneration and development that will directly shape the future and sustainability of our County and District.

If you’re ready to help realise our ambitions, take a look at www.cuttingedgepartnership.com
