Senior Auditor

North West Leicestershire District Council and Blaby District Council have recently expanded their successful shared internal audit service to welcome Charnwood Borough Council. Critical to the positive expansion of the shared service is an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking Senior Auditor to join our flexible and proactive internal audit team.  This new role will work across all sites, building valuable relationships with officers, senior managers and Councillors. 

The successful candidate must hold a full CCAB recognised qualification (or CMIIA) and be enthusiastic, self-motivated and adaptable to flourish in the demands of this diverse and varied role. You will have a solid background in public sector audit, preferably local government, with experience performing complex audit work to a high standard as well as strong inter-personal skills.
