About the role

As a Systems Management Analyst you will be part of a large team - Corporate Systems Team. Our team’s overall aim is to ensure the effective operation, support and development of a number of key management information systems. You will predominantly be working with our ‘Customer’ and ‘Business’ systems, such as our corporate CRM solution, Highways Asset Management system and property systems.

Based in Northallerton, you will be working in a friendly and professional working environment where individual effort and team work is recognised and valued both by both customers and colleagues alike. You will act as second line support for nominated systems providing a professional, high quality service, resolving technical issues and maintaining regular and effective communication with end users. You will liaise with third party suppliers to ensure a speedy resolution to complex issues and will also be involved in the testing and implementation of new/bespoke system development components and upgrade changes. You will work alongside a team of system experts who will support you in developing your knowledge to expert level.

Serving a workforce in excess of 20,000 people based in locations across North Yorkshire as well as external partners, we would be interested in hearing from you if you have experience in supporting, administering and testing large information systems. As an IT professional, excellent customer service and relationship building skills are a must. Please note that occasional out of hours working may be required to support system upgrades and changes, as well as occasional travel to other NYCC sites and supplier events.

Northallerton benefits from easy connectivity to the surrounding areas of York, Leeds and Teesside via a series of rail and road links, such as the A1, A19, and East coast main line/local train services, as well as being easily connected to other towns and villages throughout North Yorkshire via a series of road links.
