We have a reputation for providing people with a warm welcome at Herefordshire. We also have a reputation for making things happen – successfully and at pace.
Our new Assistant Director will be part of a senior leadership team, that have embarked on an ambitious transformation programme over the last three years. This has ensured the directorate is now at the forefront of strength based practice and it’s on that foundation that we’re looking to develop.
Herefordshire Council is a place where you can truly grow & develop, as a senior leader too. You’ll be someone with drive and ambition, who can demonstrate you can and have delivered successful and sustainable services. You’ll also ‘know your numbers’ and be able to show how they can be improved.
Fundamentally, this role is about driving better outcomes for vulnerable adults. That means making sure people get the care when, where and if they need it. This also means improving performance, ensuring quality of practice and embedding the new culture, that drives value out of our ways of working.
What is paramount to us, is finding an AD who understands and values their team to deliver change and innovation. We need someone who delivers on their strategies and demonstrates a strong commitment to working flexibly across our adults’ directorate, wider corporate agenda and in collaboration with our multi-agency partners.
Most of all, you’ll bring a dynamic, inspirational ‘make it happen’ approach, whilst building the relationships that take people with you.
To be part of our exciting and evolving journey, Ben Glitherow at Badenoch and Clark is supporting us to find the right applicant. Ben can be contacted on 0115 9485788 or ben.glitherow@badenochandclark.com
Closing Date – Friday 15th November
