About the Role

Having a first-class housing provision is crucial to building prosperous communities and allowing families and children to thrive in those communities. Everyone deserves a home. 

This opportunity will have strategic leadership responsibility for the delivery of a portfolio of activities and provision within Housing, including services to tenants and leaseholders, repairs and maintenance and small works. 

About the Person

We are looking for a talented individual with the energy and enthusiasm to complete a brand new leadership team that together will deliver innovative services, places and improve the lives of the residents and people that make up the vibrant communities of Newham. 

The successful person will work collaboratively with the community of Newham, The Mayor, Members, the Chief Executive, Corporate Directors, and internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for people who approach problems differently and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo, this is an exciting time to be joining Newham and we are looking for people who can embrace this and help us move towards a great future for everyone.
