We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Contract Manager to join our multi-disciplinary team. The main objective for the post holder is to be our technical expert in independently inspecting day to day repairs, Major Repairs, Voids, Fire Safety and Planned works ensuring quality, cost and compliance are measured and any contract performance issues actioned and then works approved for payment. The successful candidate will lead on and manage complex cases from varying work streams from inception to completion. This will include carrying out quality assurance inspections of varying work streams to ensure quality, cost control, value for money, health and safety and compliance, accurately recording all findings.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity it is essential the successful candidate possesses an in-depth knowledge of the Housing Disrepair protocol and Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act as well as Legal & Regulatory Compliance and management of Health & Safety. You will have previous demonstrable experience ensuring that construction works are carried out in compliance with building regulations, health and safety, leasehold issues, party wall and landlords’ statutory obligations. The successful candidate will be adept at liaising with residents, and managing contractors and a range of stakeholders in relation to construction activities.

A Degree in a building discipline such as Building Surveying and/or CIOB membership are highly desirable but not essential.
