An exciting opportunity has arisen for Children's Centre Progress and Assessment Officer within the Children's Centres team. This position is offered as a temporary opportunity for up to at least 31 March 2021 on a part-time basis.
Children's Centres across Redbridge are the focal point of contact for children under 5 and their families. They provide links and access to early education and childcare, family support, health care, benefit advice, training, volunteering and employment advice and support.
We have five Children's Centre Hubs in Redbridge and are looking for a committed and enthusiastic person to join one of our Children's Centre team. In Children's Centres we are passionate about making a difference to children and families.
As an enthusiastic practitioner and good communicator, you will be committed to working in partnership with children and families. You will work as part of a busy team in the Children's Centre Hub office. Duties will include answering telephone calls, welcoming visitors, dealing with enquiries, managing a data base, carrying out risk assessments and assisting with general administration of the Centre. You will be dealing with parents/carers, children, colleagues and other professionals for which confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
The ideal candidate will be competent in aspects of IT, will be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise and manage a busy and varied workload.
Redbridge Children's Centres are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. We expect all staff to share this commitment.
