Sandwell Young Carers is a registered charity providing services to children and young people, aged 5-18 years, living in Sandwell, whose lives are affected as a result of caring for a dependent family member.

The following post is part of the Positive Activities contract with SMBC.

We are looking to recruit a Minibus Escort.

Minibus Escort - £8.29 per hour (3-6 hours per fortnight)

Mainly evening and weekends, someone who is responsible for transporting young carer’s by taxi and minibus, to and from the organisation’s activities. This is a very responsible role within the agency requiring the post holder to work alone with up to 13 young carers.

The above position requires the post holder to be flexible, sensitive, child-centred, trustworthy and reliable, have experience of working with both children and young people and able to work to the organisation’s policies and procedures.
