You will be responsible for providing front line street cleansing services in the London Borough of Redbridge. We are looking for individuals who will be self-motivated and with a flexible approach. You will need to have a can-do attitude, be positive and professional.

Ideal driver candidates will have a full clean driving license Class B & C1 and hold a CPC.

Responsibilities will include:

This role will involve working as an individual as well as part of a team, litter pick the streets in the local area, empty the litter bins. Removal of any fly tipping noticed and other street cleansing duties. As part of your role you will be interacting with members of the public and other colleagues. Full PPE is to be worn at all times.

We are looking to recruit staff for both our day service and evening service.

Streets Cleansing Services are provided between the hours of 06.00 and 22.00 and some weekend and bank holiday working will be required.

The Day Shifts are 36 hours Monday to Saturday and this will be either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday between the hours of 06.00 to 16.00.

The Evening Shifts are 36 hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 14.00 to 22.00.
