Join our Anti-Social Behaviour team

Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Spanning both inner and outer London, it is a borough of huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up. Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.

The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.

The Post

Join us and become part of a leading Community Protection Anti-Social Behaviour team, delivering Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), Crime and Disorder positive outcomes in a challenging London borough.

You will be part of the ASB team in helping to deliver a first quality proactive and responsive ASB service for the borough. This role will specifically help lead and advise on the utilisation of the tools and powers under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 for the borough, targeting priority locations, offenders and those vulnerable in our community.

We drive for London and national best practice in how our Anti-Social Behaviour team operates, creating an evidenced area based working system for a first class operational response. We work with our partners and other London boroughs to ensure we deliver new innovations and initiatives to reduce and prevent ASB, crime and disorder.

Work with us and be a part of a creative and aspiring team to make a difference.

The Person

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with experience or transferable skills aligned to Anti-Social Behaviour activities. Someone who drives for national best practice and who is not scared of a challenge in being part of new initiatives to help and support our communities. We hope to attract a candidate with a strong work ethic as our Community Protection services is always in high demand.

Partnership work is very important for our ASB team, so enhanced partnership and multi-agency working is key in which we hope the candidate can bring to this position.

Can you help us make that difference in our communities? Bring new ideas to ensure a safer community? If so, please apply today.

Closing Date: 1 December 2019 (23:00)
