Job Details

The Royal Borough of Greenwich Reablement service provides planned, short term intensive help at home to adult and older people with physical and learning disabilities that have recently been discharged from hospital or assistance at home that can help them to avoid going into hospital or nursing/residential care. Support is provided to client’s who need short term assistance to enable them to regain their independence.

You must be able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of this high profile job and need to demonstrate your skills and experiences to support these client groups.

You will need to have a flexible approach as we work on a rota basis between 7am and 11pm every day of the year. We are looking for staff that will be able to work a variety of shifts within these times.

The service is borough wide so you need to be a car driver with the use of a car and have a full clean licence – car mileage allowance is payable.

You must have a NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. All mandatory training will be given, however you must have working knowledge on reablement.
