This position is a Fixed Term Contract covering Maternity Leave until 31 October 2020.

The Frank Chapman centre is part of the Sandwell Residential Education Service (SRES) which is a group of four centres.  We are an AHOEC Gold Standard centre, situated in 90 acres of SSSI oak forest working with our sister centres Edgmond Hall, Ingestre Hall and Plas Gwynant to provide outdoor, adventurous residential education to children and young people.

The post requires:

Degree level education in Outdoor Education / Teaching /or equivalent

3 years’ work experience in Outdoor Learning / Education with course direction and programming experience and at least 3 of the following;

• CWA + abseil module or higher
• ML (summer)
• GB Archery Instructor
• IOL Foundation Bushcraft
• APIOL or equivalent
• MTB (Level 2)
• ERCA instructor & rescuer
• PPE inspector

Woodland / Environmental management or other equivalent qualifications are also very desirable.

An enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role.
