This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful and valued, multi- professional service, supporting our schools and settings to achieve best outcomes for their children and young people with SEN/ D.

We are seeking a confident and skilled deputy manager for our Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)Team. The SEMH Team has a key role in Sandwell’s initiative to improve outcomes for children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The role involves supporting the SEMH Team Manager in co-ordinating and monitoring the work of the SEMH Team as well as working collaboratively with strategic partners to achieve the outcomes of the BLISS strategy.

You will also provide advisory support as part of a multi- professional team to identified schools.

The deputy manager will be a skilled teacher with significant understanding and experience in the field of SEMH, who can demonstrate that they can lead and develop initiatives within an education organisation.

27.5 hours per week
