As part of this work, Herefordshire Council has assembled an ambitious capital programme to deliver new employment opportunities, improved transport infrastructure, good quality affordable homes and new educational and social care facilities. But we are not resting on our laurels. There is huge potential to further develop our capital programme both to respond to recent events and take advantage of the County’s unique selling points, to deliver further major schemes, jobs, homes together with the conditions for businesses and the community to thrive and prosper.
This is where you come in. The role of the Head of Programme Management Office is the lead professional advisor to the Council on the delivery of our ambitious capital programme and a key part of the senior management team. We are looking for an ambitious individual with a track record of delivering capital projects, to lead our new Programme Management Office as well as playing a broader role across the organisation and with partners to support the strategic direction of the Council.
