Join Camden’s new estates management service
We are looking for talented people to join our new estates management service which launches in 2020. A local team to support residents and keep their homes clean and safe, this new service will play an important part in our communities and has been shaped by the people who call our council houses home.
Estates management is hugely important to the council and residents. The newly launched service includes highly trained caretakers focused on providing a more local service and keeping our residents safe.
Estates Management plays an important part in contributing to the success of Camden 2025, specifically, ‘safe, strong and open communities’, we know the service is of huge importance to residents and the Council. Estates Management is a new model of service that provides more caretakers, who are highly trained and part of a wider housing team supporting residents. The model will increase the visibility of caretakers for residents and provide a more local service whilst ensuring there is a joined up approach to delivering on health and safety and anti-social behaviour.
The role of Administrative Officer is to assist the Caretaker Support Manager and colleagues to provide high quality support for the Caretaking service. You will be a central point of contact for the Caretaking team, developing processes and providing a wide range of administrative support including but not exclusive to scheduling, customer service complaints and enquiries, minute taking, record keeping and database management.

You will have experience and knowledge of using database systems as well as extensive working experience and knowhow of MS office packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Understanding of confidentiality issues within a service framework and with special reference to the safe management of electronic data is essential. As is experience of working in a fast paced quality focused environment and providing high service outputs in a customer led environment.
