We have a variety of business administration/customer service apprenticeships available, so plenty to consider and apply for.

Why an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to gain vocational qualifications, whilst gaining valuable workplace skills and experience. Successful candidates will secure a fixed term contract in the council on a highly competitive apprenticeship salary.

You’ll receive:

• A nationally recognised level 2 or 3 Apprenticeship (you’ll have study release for this)

• Full time roles (35 hours per week, including training)

Please note that to be eligible for an apprenticeship, you must demonstrate a level of competency in Mathematics and English. Candidates who have English and Mathematics GCSE Grade D/ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications are required to email a copy of their certificates to School-Apprenticeships@royalgreenwich.gov.uk by 17th September 2020. Please see the list below of eligible certificates:

  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Functional Skills in Maths and English
  • Business Admin Level 2 qualification
  • Customer Service Level 2 qualification

Alternatively, you will be required to take Mathematics and English assessments online to determine if you are eligible for the qualification. The maths and English testing will take place on the 1st and 2nd of October (am and pm). You will be notified in advance if the testing applies to you. Please keep yourself available for these dates. Once we have established your eligibility, we will invite you to an online event.
