This is a Dynamics Developer role with a far-reaching difference.

Join the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and not only will you have a high-profile impact on the lives of residents and communities in our part of London, you’ll do the same for our partner organisation in Westminster City Council.

Both boroughs are looking to further expand our digital services and so we are investing in a multi-disciplinary IT team and growing our development capability. Microsoft Dynamics is a key strategic technology so we’ll be using it to develop new processes to allow residents to interact with us more easily and efficiently.

About You:

We’re looking for impressive development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics Portals, Javascript and C#. On a personal level, you’ll be logical and analytical, bringing a good understanding of information system concepts and practice. You’ll have an agile team mentality and be a firm advocate of software testing in the development lifecycle. Excellent, respectful communication skills are key.

In return, you can look forward to an excellent package, including annual bonus, local government pension, generous holiday allowance and flexible working.

We work in partnership with Hampshire County Council (HCC) who deliver many transactional services on our behalf. Although most communications will be from HCC, all selection and appointment decisions will be made by RBKC. Certain services are shared across more than one Council area to nearby neighbouring Authorities. This enhances delivery and reduces costs. Your recruitment information will advise if your remit extends beyond RBKC.

We will primarily contact candidates by e-mail throughout the recruitment process, please monitor your email junk / spam folder as our system generated emails may be allocated to these folders by your email settings.

We engage our staff with a variety of learning types including face-to-face and virtual learning because we want to ensure our staff understand our values and behaviours, grow their skills and develop their careers.

We are committed to promoting equality and respecting diversity and welcome applications from all sections of the community.

We are a Disability Confident Employer – committed to ensuring that our recruitment and selection process is inclusive and accessible.
